jddUpdater
jddUpdater is developed to update remote PC via hidden (password protected) FTP connection.
The updater connects to ftp server via password protected settings (hence, hidden from client), downloads a pre-complied XML which specify all procedures to complete the update.
It supports commands like upload, download, copy, backup, rename, delete, execute, zip, unzip, confirm and message. When update is completed the client log file is uploaded to server.
This program is ideal to update client programs, especially updating local intranet's using asp or php. Where often there may be the need to add or substitute pages/folder/databases.

jddDBAccess
jddDBAccess is a program to access any type of database from any platform even through TCP/IP protocol (internet).
The program uses the Java JDBC technology to load database specific driver see www.javasoft.com/products/jdbc to find driver for your type of database. Note: the standard JDBC-ODBC bridge is included in download (select download including VM) to access ODBC drivers on windows PC. With the RmiJdbc server you may access the ODBC drivers via TCP/IP see http://www.objectweb.org/rmijdbc/ for download and information.
After loading driver and connecting to database the program downloads all tables and stored queries information. These can be selected from menu as in image.
The intention of this program is not as a utility program but to demonstrate the Java JDBC power.

jddTCP/IP-Serial Bridge & jddCommunicator
jddTCP/IP-serial Bridge, jddCommunicator are programs that demonstrate how "objects" connected via serial connection can be accessed through internet.
These programs are only demonstration programs, creating a chat between serial connected PC and internet (TCP/IP) connected PC. The demonstration intends to show how instruments etc. can be updated/controlled via internet.

jddDialer
jddDialer is a dll that permits to dial a phone number using installed modem from es. Browser.
The dll is designed for intranet's using phonebooks via Browser. Registering the dll as an com object gives the possibility to automatically dial number through modem directly from the Browser. In demo version, after dialling the line needs to be picked up manually by parallel connected phone
Note: the dll can also be used by other programs configuring these correctly or by including it directly into program code.
